A bastard, Ickabod never knew his own father in which Ickabod was swept under the rug, almost literally by his mother Cassiopeia.  She hid him away, still enrolling him in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to get some alone time.  With strict rules to not speak to anyone unless a professor, Ickabod didn't make many friends, until his 6th and 7th year, when he met his friends Thomas and Ian.  Tom and Ian are the only ones whom know that Ickabod is in fact a notorious Black.  Like true friends, they have never revealed his truths and still support him to this day.

Upon graduation from Hogwarts, Ickabod took a hiatus to travel the world and study magical and non-magical items.  With his freedom from the Black family, and the fact he completely disassociated with them, Ickabod fell in love with a Muggle name Luna while exploring southern Africa.   They married at 20 years old and spent 5 more years than planned in Africa, planning to stay and start a family while Ickabod works as a wildlife veterinarian.  On his 25th birthday, Luna fell to her death off of a large cliff on the coast, trying to save a injured bird and take it home to Ickabod.  They found her body two days later, in which Ickabod immediately fled from Africa and become quite the hermit for another 5 years.

After grieving, Ickabod began to wander again, sticking to the magical realm, mostly the bars in Knockturn Alley.  There, he met Rubeus Hagrid, whom after building a close friendship, introduced him to a job opportunity at Hogwarts, where he now remains as the Professor for Care of Magical Creatures.

Character Traits:  Quiet and shy, while socially awkward but kind.  He wouldn't hurt a fly.  He likes to make others laugh or just feel better.

Likes:  Books/reading, animals and animal studies, drinking on his free time, joking around/tomfoolery

Dislikes:  Discipline, fighting/yelling (in which he has been caught raising his voice quite loudly to hush another), arrogance, disrespect, and above all, the Black family
