Ickabod Black & Friends

I really truely believe the students will hate me this year.  Not only am I new, but I feel this emotion in the air when the name "Black" is spoken aloud.  Some is postive, but it's more or less just pure disgust.

As the Care of Magical Creatures professor, I can't imagine they'll hate me for long.  Although... they may.

I feel rushed and worried.  As the other professors prepare, they seem excited and inspired by the new 1st years.  I on the other hand will sit quietly in the Great Hall, avoiding as much eye contact as possible, and I hope to get away with putting some Brandy in my tea.  We'll see...
